Exam Results In!

My ITIL CertificationReceived the results for my ITIL exam today -? I passed!

I wasn’t confident at all that I had passed, the exam itself was quite tough and I only just scraped a pass on the mock exam that came just before the real thing. Surprisingly (for me) I passed with room for error, so didn’t do too badly at all!

So I now hold ITIL certification for IT Service Management :)

Got A Geeeeeetaaaar!

Am now officially another year older following my 26th birthday yesterday. Had a really good day and a really great present from Lucy! An electric guitar!! It came with a 10 watt practice amp, gig bag, spare strings, plectrums, pitch pipe and all the usual cables etc.

I have previously owned an electric guitar, on two seperate occasions actually. My first was when I was 15 …I had zero discipline and barely tried to learn before getting rid of it. I then got another one about 4 years ago, but the need to buy a suit etc for Lucys graduation ball necessitated selling it rather quickly as I had no spare cash (would be a different story today I would like to think!). I had started to learn and could play a few bits and pieces, admittedly quite badly.

The Pineapple Thief

The Pineapple ThiefBooked tickets last night to see ‘The Pineapple Thief‘ in Bristol on the 4th of November. They are a great band, relatively unknown but to my ears have a style that encompasses Radiohead, Porcupine Tree, Marillion, Oasis, Pink Floyd & Gazpacho.

Am going to go with Leigh again, but this time we are going to get the train so that we can both have a few drinks aswell. This is the great bonus of Bristol being close, we can get there on the train within 50 minutes.

Birthday Boozing!

Went out last night with some friends to celebrate my impending 26th birthday (which is tomorrow).

We went for a meal and then on a bit of a pub crawl before ending up in Bridgwaters local shithole – The Palace. Was a good night, although I think I lost interest by the time we got to The Palace …. clubs are not my kind of thing anymore to be honest. I would much sooner stay in a pub and be able to have a conversation rather than stand around bored / dance like an idiot.

Am I starting to get old?

It Keeps Growing!

Yep, my CD collection keeps growing due to the sheer addictiveness of ebay. Recent additions are so much that I am considering making a new page under ‘My Music’ to list them all.

David Gray - A New Day At Midnight Radiohead - Hail To The Thief Travis - The Man Who Pink Floyd - Wish You Were Here
Transatlantic - SMPTe Louise - Naked Jimmy Nail - Crocodile Shoes II Collective Soul - Disciplined Breakdown
Manic Street Preachers - The Holy Bible Gwen Stefani - Love Angel Music Baby No Doubt - The Singles 1993 - 2003

A few surprises in here, so I should probably note that it is advisable to stay away from ebay when under the influence of alcohol! As buying things for sentimental reasons suddenly becomes a problem!
