Time Off

I am now off work until April the 10th.
The next week and a bit are going to be great 
Court Claim Won!
Mar 29th
I opened a letter from my bank last night, finally conceding to my court claim against them to refund bank charges that they have illegally taken from me over the last 6 years (which you can read about here)
I checked my online banking straight away and they have already paid the money into my account! Result!
I highly recommend going down this route, as for minimal fuss you can gain back any charge the banks have made against you in the last 6 years.

- 9th – New Marillion album ‘Somewhere Else’

- 16th – New Porcupine Tree album ‘Fear Of A Blank Planet’
- 24th – Going to see Porcupine Tree in Bristol
May be squeezing in another gig on April the 3rd, ‘The Cooper Temple Clause‘ @ Bristol again. Not sure yet though
The Race

Any doubt I had about Lewis Hamiltons ability was quashed on Sunday. He surpassed my expectations and drove like he had been in Formula 1 for years, outpacing his double world champion team mate, Fernando Alonso, for much of the race. He should infact have finished ahead of him but for unhelpful backmarkers just before his final pitstop.
He seems to drive on the ragged edge, but with control. I was expecting to see his car fly off the road during the race as he was slinging it around big time, but it seems his style is to take the car to the absolute limit lap after lap. More >
The Winter Famine

Well, it’s almost over …. the winter F1 famine that is!
It’s been a long old slog, but they roll out for practice in Melbourne, Australia in a few hours and whilst I will be tucked up in bed when that happens, I won’t be tomorrow night. I intend to be up and wide awake for both the qualifying and the race …still undecided as to whether i stay up or get an extra early night and get up early. Either way, Red Bull is going to be required!
I can’t chuffing wait!
