Return Of The Blog
Nov 30th
Well this blog has been offline for most of November, coming up a few times for air, only to be dragged back down again as it drowned in a sea of PHP and SQL errors.
It’s now back ..healthier than ever and raring to be updated! So fear not! Chris Woolley can finally breathe a sigh of relief, my exciting little life is once again viewable on the world wide web. Kiss My Face!
Porcupine Tree – Carling Academy, Oxford – 08/11/2007
Nov 10th
Having missed the last Porcupine Tree gig I was due to attend due to not being able to find the venue!! (Bristol, April 2007) I was absolutely determined to see them on this mini tour of the UK.
Tickets were booked the day they were released, everything was arranged in advance. My mate Leigh was going to drive for the first time to a gig. It’s normally me that drives so this was a very welcome change.
All went accoding to plan until we hit Oxford, and then we got lost. Horribly lost. Infact, horrendously lost! In the end we just parked in a pay and display car park, went into the nearest pub, had a pint and ordered a taxi to the venue. It was the only way! As it turns out, we were nowhere near the venue, so good job we did!
On my xmas present list – a GPS unit!
How Much?!!!!!!
Nov 6th
Filled my car up with Diesel this afternoon for the first time since the recent rise in fuel price. Was absolutely gobsmacked to see it cost £51! Last time I filled the car it cost me £47! so £4 is one heck of a hike! Not impressed!!!
I do about 1000 miles a month and generally only go through 2 tanks a month as the fuel economy is quite good on my car (i generally get 44-50mpg out of it), but the price hike still takes the piss!
