My name is Dan Lawrence. I am a 29 year old Systems Support Analyst residing in Bridgwater, Somerset.

I live with my lovely wife Lucy who I married in April 2008 and our beautiful baby girl, Amelia, who was born in June 2009.

I have a very keen taste in music, and can (very badly) play the guitar (a bit!)

I started this blog for no other reason than the fact everyone has one these days, and found it was quite addictive and therapeutic to lay down some thoughts every now and again. I didn’t want to be on MySpace with all the kids either …..so this is my own personal space on the web.

My blog is more of an online diary, without all the deeply personal bits. Some people have blogs to preach to the world, or to focus on a specific subject …but not me, so you may find it a bit boring. The blog is primarily for me ….I like the idea of reading it back in 10 years time and thinking ‘those were the days!’ although I warmly welcome any visitors (and I know there are a few of you!).
