We have two cars. A ‘family’ car, and a general runaround.

The ‘family’ car is  a 2009 Hyundai i30 1.4 (Petrol). Tis a really nice car, we bought brand new after taking advantage of the government scrappage scheme. It’s not that powerful but it does the job and is nice and roomy for the 3 of us when making longer journeys.

The ‘runaround’ is a 2001 Peugeot 306 HDi 2.0 Turbo Diesel.

It’s extremely economical, ranging from 45-55mpg! It’s also got a fair bit of power under the bonnet with it’s 2 litre turbo diesel engine. I prefer driving this car for this obvious reason!
